These are some photos which were sneakily taken of Anslem Kiefer’s exhibition at the RA. His work involves a lot of texture – created using materials such as straw, ash, clay, acrylic paint and in some of his pieces even diamonds and gold. He produces gritty work on a large scale, looking mostly at the idea of death. This is not an exhibition to go to if you want to leave happy afterwards.
